Pathfinder 2E has the beastkin ancestry, and in 1e had the skinchanger race. 3.5 had the Darfellan from Stormwrack. There seems to be a wealth of home brew and maybe even some kind of Sahuagin variant official race for 5e (honestly not sure). But as yet there is no humanoid shark option for Starfinder. With all the hype from Suicide Squad and the love for the King Shark character, there are absolutely folks out there chomping at the bit (Snerk) to play a big sharky boy as their next character. As there is this rather egregious shark shaped void in Starfinder player race options, I thought I’d stat one up.

Nanauiloid Feats:
BLOOD-FRENZY
Prerequisites: must have the Nanauiloid subtype, must be taken at first level
As an immediate action any time a creature within the range of your blindsense (scent) has the bleed condition or takes hit point damage you can spend a resolve point to enter a frenzied state of blood lust. For a number of rounds equal to your character level you gain a +1 insight bonus to hit rolls, damage rolls, and a number of temporary hitpoints equal to twice your character level. You may only choose to end this state after killing a significant foe, eating the equivalent of a full meal, or breaking something and making a DC 10 will save, but regardless of whether it was ended naturally or on purpose, after the effect ends you gain the fatigued condition for an equal amount of time. A you may only do this once per extended rest.
NUM NUMS
Prerequisites: must have the Blood-Frenzy feat, must have a character level of 7 or higher.
You gain the Swallow Whole extraordinary ability with your unarmed strike (as per Alien Archive page 156) and are considered one size category larger for the purposes of what size of creature you can swallow whole.

As always, if you like this or any of the other content here on Solo Run Studio I would welcome a little of your support through Ko-fi. Until next time Starfinders!
