Starfinder – Spectral Arms

A re-occurring motif in some mythologies is the symbolization of mystic power through the presence of multiple sets of arms. And why not, I mean who wouldn’t want an extra set of limbs or three to carry more stuff, do more things, or put on a sick juggling act? Or, to bring it into Starfinder lore, why should the Kasatha, Shobad, and Witchwyrds have all the fun?

The answer is no reason at all! At least, not if they have access to the Spectral Arms spell.

Description

You focus your arcane might and summon spectral appendages in addition to your own. For the duration of the spell these ghostly limbs function as extra sets of your primary manipulating appendages, allowing you to hold an additional hand’s worth of gear per limb. This lets you have more items at the ready, but it doesn’t increase the number of attacks you can make in combat.You can deliver touch spells with the spectral limbs as if they were your natural limbs.

1st you summon two spectral appendages. Unarmed attacks made with these spectral limbs are considered non-archaic and lethal, and are magic weapons.

2nd you summon four spectral appendages. Unarmed attacks made with these spectral limbs are considered non-archaic and lethal, gain the force descriptor, and are magic weapons. You also gain a unique weapon specialization with them allowing you to add 1-1/2 x your character level to damage rolls made with them.

3rd you summon four spectral appendages with a reach of +5ft beyond your existing natural reach. Unarmed attacks made with these spectral limbs are considered non-archaic and lethal, gain the force descriptor, the staggered critical effect, and are magic weapons. You also gain a unique weapon specialization with them allowing you to add 1-1/2 x your character level to damage rolls made with them.

4th you summon six spectral appendages with a reach of +10ft beyond your existing natural reach. Unarmed attacks made with these spectral limbs are considered non-archaic and lethal, gain the force descriptor, the stunned critical effect, and are magic weapons. You also gain a unique weapon specialization with them allowing you to add 1-1/2 x your character level to damage rolls made with them.


There you are, a little utility and offensive melee capability for your caster should you ever need it. Or they can carry a whole party’s worth of pizzas!
